  • You can designate your donations to different Chicago Children's Museum areas by marking your gifts as unrestricted or restricted.

    • Unrestricted  gifts are among the most valuable to Chicago Children’s Museum because your donation can be allocated to wherever the need is greatest. These gifts to the annual fund not only support the Museum’s permanent exhibits, installation of new exhibits, on-going creative programming, and unique program offerings but also fund the people, facilities and technology the Museum needs to continue operating.

    • Restricted  gifts allow you to designate your gift to a specific program, grant, scholarship, or endowment. When you designate your gift, you enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting a program that is personally meaningful to you.

  • Thank you for being a Member of Chicago Children’s Museum. Memberships and admissions only cover around 33% of our annual operating costs. The remaining costs of offering playful exhibits, engaging programming and, ongoing maintenance of our museum is covered by donations from members and other friends who believe deeply in the important role this museum plays in the lives of children and families.
